Last stuff here 4th August, 2011

Finally, Finally!
I got ideas to write the last ‘diary’ and to finish this blog. Well, I’ve backed almost 2 weeks, everything are just changing too fast in Hong Kong and also too hot, too wet, too crowd, I became a completely stranger in this busy city, I got lost with myself, but I had to attend some family’s, friend’s gathering and of course have a year in Argentina was just too weird to them, I’m now getting used to somebody’s attention or a freaking perspective.

Everything just fine right now, ya, it would be better, I’m a Hong Kong people/ Hong Konger though.

Friends asked me was it worth to be there for one year long? No matter it could be a little bit weird to everyone you know, that’s a rare experience and I also won lots of rare friendships, so ya! it worth! I grew up more than 1 year I could in Hong Kong.

About stress, I’m gonna overcome it, continue my life in Hong Kong and just hide Argentina somewhere deep in my heart, until one day I go back there, I know there’s love from host family which is my second family!

AND ! This blog! I’m sorry that I’m not going to update anymore ‘cause I started it for my exchange year, so when that came over, I’d finished my job.

Any question, you’re welcome to ask me through e-mail, here’s my personal e-mail account: wongkalok@live.hk

Thanks for watching in these few minutes or even these months, Good Luck my friends!

First of July

Happy birthday, Mama

It's really sad because of the Chilean volcano ash, I definitely have no more chance to ski in the rest of my stay. By the same reason, I've recently got a serious problem with my nose again. This week was full of weird weather to me, I experienced the coldest day in my life, -12°C, first time to see hail and to walk against STRONG wind with ash.

About the volcano in Chile, It made tons of trouble, airport are all closed in the nearing region, there were only long-distance bus instead, however, there's only 5 meter visibility. Several famous town will not be suitable for ski vacation at least this year...

SEE YOU

Almost a week, I’ve backed from the 9 days trip of AFS.
So, Let’s continue my journey right here~
P1050594

Day 1 (20/may) Leaving Roca

I was leaving my town, Roca, to Buenos Aires (Capital of Argentina) at night, and met ‘Sapo’, Ziggy, Mari, Frida firstly on the bus.

Day 2 Arriving Buenos Aires & a smart decision

Simon(another exchange student in Roca who joined the trip also) and we decided to have a triple room that mean there would be 1 more exchange student sharing the room with us, It could be a completely stranger.
And yes, we met our new friend from Germany, Julius. He’s also a exchange student from AFS but we’d never met each other before.

THAT’S our awesome starting!

City Tour…

Just a while later of that, we got to start our 20 hours bus travelling to Puerto Iguazú. I had met Kwan, a girl from Thailand who’s 25% Chinese. We were having a long long lo…ng talk like 5 hours, It was really nice ‘cause she knew plenty of Hong Kong! And I’d quite surprised by her satisfied Chinese, even there’re some hilarious mistakes. Btw there’s also a Japanese in the trip with us, Masan, from Ichi. However, 3 Asians from 3 different countries, Spanish was the only common language we speak… hahaha

Day 4 Northern Misiones

On day 4, we visited Mina de Wandas, San Ignacios with heavy raining, unlike the typical weather in south America, that wasn’t a sunny day, but kinda to Hong Kong climate, moistly, cool. P1050608P1050609P1050610P1050611P1050612P1050615P1050616P1050617P1050618P1050619

While Simon, Julius and I were walking from hotel to the center without any clues, luckily we met a typical helpful south American Winking smile , he introduced us the main streets, the center, the bar, even the hospital.

Day 5 Accident

In the morning, we travelled with a guide at the Iguazú National Park, we walked the entire morning. Beside, the best of that day would be the safari, we had crashed and got wet right under a waterfall, that’s was so cool! P1050642P1050643P1050644 WATERFALL!!! that’s why I was there! At night, everyone was going to Brazil to watch a show of Murata(sexy dancing) except those from USA, HK, China and Japan, ‘cause we couldn’t pass without visa… Maybe they hate superpowers…

So, I planed to go to the town center with my American friends, but we met an accident while I was tying my shoe, a motor crashed to a car, then the motor drive was flew over the car, and landed only 2 steps from my back. Beside fearless, I learned how close of the death…

Rest of days: revisiting & super shopping Smile

P1050841 and I took a photo with Messi and Maradona!

Lastly, I wrote in English ‘cause I want to share about my trip with more people, e.g. my friends all over the world. I don’t know if I’ll keep writing in English but I’d sure this blog will be updated with tons of pictures all the time! So, please Subscribe me!

Next trip would be Ski in Bariloche!! wowow!!

(18- 25 / June) Smile

Nos vemos
(See you )!
